Family Butler is a private, transactional text-message assistant for one household. Authorized members and their invited guests text the service in everyday language; it updates the household's shared calendar, lists, and reminders and texts back to confirm. Messages consist of calendar confirmations, reminders, list updates, clarifying questions, and the daily digest.
Only pre-authorized household members and guests they invite. Messages from unrecognized numbers are ignored. See the Opt-In / Consent policy for how consent is collected.
Message frequency varies and depends on how often you text the service and the reminders and digests you schedule. Every message is either a reply to your own text or something you scheduled.
There is no charge for the service itself. Message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your device, carrier, and network, so do not rely on the service for urgent or emergency matters.
No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See the Privacy Policy for what is collected and how long it is kept.
